The 2021 autumn-winter collection should be seen as a wake-up call for the fashion industry after a long period of silence. This season, fashion takes on the responsibility of bringing joy to people. The shadow of the pandemic still looms over the fashion capital, but creators are determined to convey a sense of hope — even if whether this hope can be realized remains uncertain. The journey to optimism is not always smooth. During the days when world was forced to halt, people no longer believed that the fashion industry could return to normal, or were willing to return to it. Fortunately, reflection and innovation have not stopped over the past year. Brands have made changes one after another, reflecting on the current overly rapid pace of work and calling for a return to the source of creativity. Clearly, the fashion industry cannot be separated from the rapidly changing social reality. If in the past, fashion was only responsible for beauty, now it has been given more social responsibility.
2021 年秋冬系列应当被视作时尚界沉寂已久后的苏醒。这一季,时装需要承担起为人们带来愉悦的责任。疫情的阴影依然笼罩在时装之都的上空,但创作者们却执意传达一种希望 —— 即便这种希望是否能实现依然难以预料。抵达乐观的路途并非一直平坦,在工作被迫停摆的日子里,时尚界人士不再笃信行业能回归常态,或者,愿意回到常态。值得庆幸的是,过去一年反思与创新并未停摆。品牌接连做出改变,反思当下过快的工作节奏并呼吁重寻创意的源头。显然,时装行业无法与快速改变的社会现实割裂。如果说在过去,时装仅仅需要对美负责,那么现在,它已经被赋予了更多的责任。
